Academic Qualification Requirements
Safety Officer: First Class Mines Manager’s Certificate as per Coal Regulation, Mines with additional 2 years experience after getting the certificate.
Assistant Manager (Mining): First or second Class Mines Certificate Manager’s of competency issued by DGMS as per Coal Mines Regulation
Personnel /Welfare Officer: Degree Science in or Social Labour Welfare and at least 3 years experience of handling problems labour any in industrial undertaking.
Mine Surveyor: Surveyor’s Certificate with 2 years practical experience in coal mine surveying
Overman: Diploma in Mining Engineering of 3 years duration from recognized institute, with experience in the field of coal mining, valid gas testing certificate, valid first-aid certificate, overman competency certificate obtained from DGMS

शैक्षणिक योग्यता
सुरक्षा अधिकारी: कोयला विनियमन के अनुसार प्रथम श्रेणी खान प्रबंधक का प्रमाण पत्र, खानों में प्रमाण पत्र प्राप्त करने के बाद अतिरिक्त 2 वर्ष का अनुभव।
सहायक प्रबंधक (खनन): कोयला खान विनियमन के अनुसार डीजीएमएस द्वारा जारी प्रथम या द्वितीय श्रेणी खान प्रबंधक का योग्यता प्रमाण पत्र
कार्मिक/कल्याण अधिकारी: विज्ञान या सामाजिक श्रम कल्याण में डिग्री और औद्योगिक उपक्रम में श्रमिकों की समस्याओं से निपटने का कम से कम 3 वर्ष का अनुभव।
खान सर्वेक्षक: कोयला खान सर्वेक्षण में 2 वर्ष के व्यावहारिक अनुभव के साथ सर्वेक्षक का प्रमाण पत्र
ओवरमैन: मान्यता प्राप्त संस्थान से 3 वर्ष की अवधि का खनन इंजीनियरिंग में डिप्लोमा, कोयला खनन के क्षेत्र में अनुभव, वैध गैस परीक्षण प्रमाण पत्र, वैध प्राथमिक चिकित्सा प्रमाण पत्र, डीजीएमएस से प्राप्त ओवरमैन योग्यता प्रमाण पत्र
