Academic Qualification Requirements
A candidate should have first class or high second class in B.Sc. & M.Sc. degrees in Chemistry/Physics with minimum average marks of 55% and has obtained a Ph.D. degree in chemistry/physics or submitted thesis recently. Candidate should have research experience supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals in the field of theoretical/computational physical chemistry, preferably in the area of biophysical chemistry. A selected candidate who is yet to receive Ph.D. degree may join only after the submission of documentary proof of the thesis submission. Such candidates will draw a fellowship amount as appropriate to a bridge fellowship as per the rules of IACS and will be eligible to receive the full RA-I fellowship from the award date of the doctoral degree, supported by documentary proof.

शैक्षणिक योग्यता
उम्मीदवार के पास रसायन विज्ञान/भौतिकी में बीएससी और एमएससी डिग्री में प्रथम श्रेणी या उच्च द्वितीय श्रेणी होनी चाहिए, जिसमें न्यूनतम औसत अंक 55% हों और उसने रसायन विज्ञान/भौतिकी में पीएचडी की डिग्री प्राप्त की हो या हाल ही में थीसिस प्रस्तुत की हो। उम्मीदवार के पास सैद्धांतिक/कम्प्यूटेशनल भौतिक रसायन विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में, अधिमानतः जैवभौतिक रसायन विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में, सहकर्मी-समीक्षित पत्रिकाओं में प्रकाशनों द्वारा समर्थित अनुसंधान अनुभव होना चाहिए। एक चयनित उम्मीदवार जिसने अभी तक पीएचडी की डिग्री प्राप्त नहीं की है, वह थीसिस जमा करने का दस्तावेजी प्रमाण प्रस्तुत करने के बाद ही शामिल हो सकता है। ऐसे उम्मीदवार आई ए सी एस के नियमों के अनुसार ब्रिज फेलोशिप के लिए उपयुक्त फेलोशिप राशि प्राप्त करेंगे और दस्तावेजी प्रमाण द्वारा समर्थित डॉक्टरेट की डिग्री के पुरस्कार की तारीख से पूर्ण आरए-I फेलोशिप प्राप्त करने के पात्र होंगे।
