The over 22-kilometre long section has been built at a cost of 1,058 crore rupees. The project is part of 82-kilometre long Expressway which connects Delhi with Meerut in western Uttar Pradesh.

India's first private train Tejas Express was flagged off by UP CM Yogi Adityanath on Lucknow-Delhi route on 04th September 2019. The train is being operated entirely by Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a subsidiary of Indian Railways. The train will cover distance between Delhi and Lucknow in six hours and 15 minutes.

World Economic Forum has released the Global Competitiveness Index report. The Central Government has constituted a committee of officers to suggest measures to augment GST revenue collections and administration. The terms of reference of the panel includes making suggestions related to systemic changes in goods and services tax (GST) including checks and balances to prevent misuse and measures to improve voluntary compliance.

UAE announced the establishment of the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence( MBZUAI), the first graduate-level, research-based AI university in the world. World’s oldest natural pearl named ‘Abu Dhabi Pearl’ has been discovered on an island off Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The 8,000-year-old pearl was found during excavations at Marawah Island which also revealed the earliest architecture in the UAE.

गुटनिरपेक्ष आंदोलन (NAM) शिखर सम्मेलन 25 अक्टूबर से 26 अक्टूबर 2019 के बीच बाकू, अजरबैजान में आयोजित होगा। एनएएम के 18 वें शिखर सम्मेलन की मेजबानी एच.ई. श्री इल्हाम अलीयेव, अज़रबैजान गणराज्य के अध्यक्ष करेंगे।

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated Col. Chewang Rinchen Setu (Bridge) which has been constructed at an altitude of 14,650 feet in the forward area of Ladakh region. It is named in honour of Colonel Chewang Rinchen who was one of the highly decorated officers in Indian Army from Ladakh. He was also a Maha Vir Chakara awardee (1952).

The Union Cabinet has decided to hike Minimum Support Price, MSP, for Rabi crops for marketing season 2020-21. MSP of wheat has been increased by 85 rupees per quintal to 1,925 rupees per quintal. While MSP of Gram has been increased by 255 rupees, barley 85 rupees, mustard oil 225 rupees and sunflower 270 rupees per quintal.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने विपणन सीजन 2020-21 के लिए रबी फसलों के लिए न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य, एमएसपी को बढ़ाने का फैसला किया है। गेहूं का एमएसपी 85 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल बढ़ाकर 1,925 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल कर दिया गया है। जबकि चने का एमएसपी 255 रुपये, जौ 85 रुपये, सरसों का तेल 225 रुपये और सूरजमुखी 270 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल बढ़ाया गया है।

The Union Cabinet has approved cadre review of Group A General Duty (Executive) Cadre and Non-Gazetted cadre of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, ITBP. It has also decided to create two new Commands (Western Command at Chandigarh and Eastern Command at Guwahati) to be headed by Additional Director General and assisted by Inspector General.
